Busy bee on Bluebonnet

Been a busy bee? Busy bee on a bluebonnet? (I love alliteration)

Me too…glad April 15th is over!

Now there is time for everyone to have a go at this month’s ID Challenge! Remember, the prize is a $10 donation from Birder’s Lounge to the wildlife/nature/conservation charity of your choice! See entry form at the bottom of this post.

Let me also remind you that Birder’s Lounge is sponsoring a year-long campaign to inspire others to help take care of our planet and all of its living creatures. The Do Something! campaign provides a way for you to brag on yourself, lead by example, and direct Birder’s Lounge to add a dollar the pot that will be divided between the two Birder’s Lounge charities at the end of the year! See the checklist at the bottom of this post.

Finally, Birder’s Lounge is hosting its first blog carnival, Circus of the Spineless, on May 4. That’s right, we’re going to talk about insects (butterflies, bees, dragonflies, spiders, beetles, etc), clams, crayfish, worms, and many other brave creatures, despite their lack of a backbone! :-) If you would like to submit a blog entry, a comment, or even a quandary, please contact me by May 2.
