Winner, November 2009

This month’s ID Challenge contest has come to a close and we have a winner! AJ was the only participant so she walked away with the $10 donation to the charity of her choice. AJ chose Peaceful Valley Donkey Rescue (PVDR) as the recipient of this donation made in her name.

And now for the answers:

  • AJ:

I learned about Peaceful Valley Donkey Rescue from reading a book entitled “Talking With Donkeys.” Its author–and owner of the Peaceful Valley Ranch–is an amazing man named Mark Meyers. Mr. Meyers rescues wild burros and domesticated donkeys all across the nation from abuse, neglect, and slaughter. Among many other things, he provides them with food, medical attention, empathy, and love. Please visit the website @ http://www.donkeyrescue.org. I hope to meet Mr. Meyers one day, as well as take a tour of one of his incredible ranches.

  • Wow Amber, I have been so busy I missed this month’s ID challenge and it was one I actually knew! Usually the insect or the plant kills me like last month. OK, I am ready for the next one. Wish me luck!

Congratulations AJ! Nice job and Donkey Rescue looks like a great charity!

  • Congratulations, AJ! Glad to see another good charity receiving some help.

  • AJ:

    Thank you, Jason and Larry!
