I finally made it out for a weekend, and spent a good long day hiking around Caprock Canyons State Park in the southern panhandle of Texas. Here are a few pics; more to come.

Hi Amber! Great pictures!! I have never been to Caprock Canyons State Park in Texas…but it looks like a wonderful place to hike and view God’s handy work!
Thanks for sharing with us!!
Dinna
Hi Dinna – I really enjoyed the park, and they have a really cool, brand-new visitor’s center. They have bison roaming the park – I saw one from the parking lot!
Hi Amber. Caprock sounds like a wonderful place to spend your weekend. Were you there during a full moon? As always, your pictures are appreciated. Thank you so much for sharing.
Take care,
Cassie
Hi Cassie – you know, I can’t say for sure about the moon – I would have to check the calendar. Glad you like the pics, will get some more up when I can. I’m planning another trip for the end of October, glad to finally be getting outside again!
Wonderful photos. What a landscape. Despite living in Texas for 16 years (before returning to NYC), I only saw a roadrunner once – and it was such a treat!
