Winner – ID Challenge, December, 2009

Winner - Jason Hogle - chose to let me choose the charity!

The last ID Challenge contest for 2009 has come to a close and we have a winner! Jason Hogle of Xenogere was the first person to get the most number of correct answers. This month, we had 2 participants – thank you!

Jason has chosen to let ME choose the charity! Thanks so much, Jason – you’re the best. I am delighted to send this check to Project Coyote, a wonderful organization that I am currently researching.

Look for another year of monthly contests in 2010, where participants can play to win donations for their favorite wildlife/nature/conservation charities.

Time for the last ID Challenge contest for 2009! If you haven’t played for your favorite nature/wildlife/conservation charity yet, it’s not too late. The first person to get the most number of correct answers will win a $10 donation from Birder’s Lounge, donated in the winner’s name. I am  happy to announce that Birder’s Lounge will sponsor the monthly ID Challenge contest again in 2010. Now, for the photos:

Winners and Do-Gooders

The October edition of the Birder’s Lounge ID Challenge has come to a close, and we have a winner! Tina Gilson was the first person to get the most number of correct answers (she scored 100%), and she also answered the bonus question correctly, for a total prize of $15 to the wildlife/nature/conservation charity of her choice. Tina has chosen the Warbler Woods Bird Sanctuary to receive this donation in her name. Way to go, Tina! There were two participants this time around, so if you think you don’t have a chance to win, go ahead and give it a try. Your chances may be better than you think. :-)

Winner – ID Challenge, September, 2009

Winner - AJ & WRR

Winner - AJ & WRR

The September ID Challenge contest has come to a close and we have a winner! AJ was the first person to get the most number of correct answers. She recently learned that Wildlife Rescue & Rehabilitation has expanded their excellent services to include domestic pets, in addition to wildlife. This bit of news is why AJ chose WRR as the recipient of this month’s $10 donation. Great job, AJ!

We had 2 contestants for the month of September, so if you think you can’t win $10 for your favorite charity, the odds are looking pretty good! The October ID Challenge will be posted by Oct. 6, and will run through the end of the month.
